I have finally decided to create my own blog after years of following others. I am addicted to all things beauty and love nothing more than trying out new beauty products.
So seeing as its my first post I thought I would review probably the most popular and hyped about product of the moment...If you haven't guessed already maybe the picture below will give you a clue.
OK a pretty big clue there but yep you've guessed it...the caudalie beauty elixir.
I really have to admit that I did not want to like this product. It seems so expensive to me for what is (in my opinion) just a bottle of scented water but oh my goodness! I cannot explain how in love I am with this product!
Firstly there's the smell...oh the smell! It smells like humbugs, minty with a little edge of something I can't quite work out but *sigh* it's so refreshing. A slight warning though this isn't for the faint hearted as this stuff packs a mega mintyfied punch!
Secondly there's the things it does for my skin. I've had some major breakouts recently around my chin and have tried literally everything to calm them down, including sleeping with toothpaste on my face and countless face masks. However the beauty elixir seems to be the only thing that has reduced the size of the blemishes and soothed any redness. I'm not going to claim it is a miracle cure for acne but it certainly helped with my spots as far as making them look a lot less angry and also making them easier to cover with make up.
I've already purchased the 100ml and 30ml bottles and have an unfortunate feeling I may be hooked on this stuff for a while to come!!!
